Team

A small core team, a large crew on the weekend itself, and a handful of roles still open.

The core

Coffee Festival Europe is produced by Content Agency UG. The core team runs year-round; the festival crew is assembled per edition from people who have worked the hall before.

These roles are filled before the launch

The remaining roles are being filled now. We would rather name them once, correctly, than put a stand-in here — so the card shows the job and not a placeholder name.

Working with us

We hire per edition and keep people between editions where we can. If you have worked a festival hall before — production, hospitality, stage management, front of house — write to us with what you did and which edition it was.

How we work

A small team and a lot of people for four days

A festival of this size does not run on a large payroll but on a small core plus a lot of people who join for four days: stand construction, technical services, security, cleaning, logistics. Most of them come from the city the festival takes place in — not on principle but because you cannot sensibly import those trades.

How we work

Four points that apply to everyone

This is not a mission statement but a description of how decisions actually get made. Anyone working with us should know it beforehand.

01

Coffee decides, not budget

The floor is allocated on quality and variety, not on willingness to pay. It costs us money and it is the reason the festival looks the way it does.

02

Figures come out

Attendance, exhibitors, reach, quantities — including the values that do not flatter us. A location that only shows its good numbers has bad ones.

03

Commission regionally

Stand construction, technical services, security, cleaning and food come from the region of the venue. That is the part of the budget that actually stays in the city.

04

No announcement without a signature

Neither partners nor dates nor prices are named before they stand contractually. Not even when the conversations are going well.

The team in figures

Small enough that everyone knows everything

A festival this size is not made by a department but by a few people who can call across a table to each other. That has limits — and it has the advantage that no enquiry disappears between two remits.

12

Years of festival

From the first hall in İstanbul to preparing for Dortmund.

4

Locations at once

Four cities in Türkiye run in parallel, with the same core team.

3

Working languages

Turkish, English, German — every enquiry is answered in its own language.
