Boilerplate
Coffee Festival was founded in İstanbul in 2014 by Dream Sales Machine and has grown into a platform where producers, roasters, brands, baristas and audiences meet in one hall over one weekend. In 2027 the festival opens a European chapter in Dortmund, with further cities to follow. Coffee Festival Europe is produced by Content Agency UG.
What you may publish without asking
- The boilerplate above, in full or shortened, in any language.
- The logo files on the Media page, unmodified and with clear space respected.
- Photographs from the Recap archive, with the credit line shown next to each image.
What we ask you not to do
- Do not recolour, stretch, crop, outline or otherwise reinterpret the Coffee Festival mark. If a layout needs a version that does not exist, ask us and we will make it.
- Do not publish attendance, revenue or exhibitor figures we have not confirmed in writing. If you need a number, ask — we would rather give you a real one than see an estimate in print.
- Do not use a partner's or exhibitor's logo from our material without their own permission.
Accreditation
Press accreditation for Dortmund 2027 opens together with ticket sales. Until then, subscribing as Press to the newsletter is the fastest way to hear about it.
Press kit
The full kit — high-resolution logos, photography, fact sheet and speaker biographies — is assembled once the programme is fixed. Ask us before then and we will send what already exists.
Reach
What has been reported so far
For an editorial desk the most useful figure is not how good we think we are but how much was actually written about the existing locations. These values come from the 2023 analysis across three festivals in Türkiye.
2.400
Online items
Across three festivals in 2023.
3,34 Mio.
People reached
Through the festival's own channels, across 524,759 interactions.
116.000
Visitors in 2023
İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir taken together.
54.683
Followers on the main channel
The reach does not disappear between festivals.
Advertising value of the coverage
Editorial coverage across three festivals in 2023, in Turkish lira. Not bought reach but earned. On top of that came 2,400 online items.

For editorial desks
What we can supply, and what we cannot
Images from İstanbul and Ankara are available at resolution and with credits. Figures on attendance, exhibitors and reach we release in full, including the uncomfortable ones. What we do not supply are dates, prices and partner names before they are signed — not even under embargo.
What actually gets asked
Four requests that always come
From the editorial enquiries of recent editions. The order is how often they arrive — and knowing what sits at the top saves you the first email.
01
Print-resolution imagery
Almost every desk asks for photographs first. That is why the archive is open, with the photographer's name on every image.

02
Visitor and exhibitor figures
Verified and documented for the existing locations. For Dortmund there is no figure, not even an estimated one.
StatusExisting only
03
An interview on site
Possible once the venue is signed. Before that there is nobody who could say anything that would hold.
StatusOnce signed
04
Logo and brand rules
Available immediately, together with the list of what must not be done with the mark.

What we make available to editorial teams
All images come from the festivals in İstanbul and Ankara. Higher resolutions and credits on request.

Why Dortmund
How a festival built in İstanbul picks its first European city, what the Ruhr region has that a capital does not, and what the move costs.
Getting producers into the room
What it takes financially and logistically for a grower to stand at their own table in Europe, and why most trade fairs end up representing origin instead.
One price list, no back channel
Why every exhibitor sees the same rates and the same deadlines, and what that does to who ends up on the floor.
Twelve editions of evidence
What changed in specialty coffee between 2014 and now, seen from inside a hall that has run through all of it.
