Media
Logos, colours and typography, with the rules that keep them recognisable.
The mark
Two versions, and no third. The filled roundel is the default and works on any dark ground. The line version exists for light grounds, for small sizes and for the moments on this site where the mark changes state while you scroll.
Colour
Five colours carry the whole identity. Ember is the only accent; everything else is ground and text.
Selected images
What the archive holds
Shots from İstanbul and Ankara, released for editorial use with credits. The full selection at print resolution is available on request.

Terms of use
What you may do with it
We keep this deliberately short. Four points, and all four are self-explanatory.
Editorial use is free
Reporting on the festival, in print, online and in broadcast. No application needed, no clearance per image.
Credit required
Photo credit as given, visible on the image or in the publication's imprint. The credit sits with every file.
Not for advertising
The material is not released for advertisements, product packaging or third-party promotion — exhibitors included.
No editing of the content
Cropping and colour correction are fine. Montages, retouching and generative extensions are not.
About the archive
Every picture carries the name of whoever made it
It sounds like a formality and it is a position: photography is work, and whoever reuses it names it. Where a name is missing, we do not know it — and that is what it says there, rather than papering over the gap.
Clear space and minimum size
Keep clear space of at least half the mark's diameter on every side. Do not place the mark below 24 pixels or 8 millimetres — below that the wordmark inside it stops being legible and you should use a version without it.
Typography
Archivo for display and body, a monospaced face for labels and small caps. Both are self-hosted — no external font network is contacted when the site loads.

What not to do
- Do not recolour the mark outside the palette below.
- Do not add a shadow, a gradient, an outline or a container the mark does not already have.
- Do not stretch, rotate or crop it, and do not rebuild it in another typeface.
- Do not place it on a busy photograph without a scrim behind it.
Writing the name
The mark has rules and so does the name. These are the ones that matter in running text.
- The full name is Coffee Festival Europe. The event in a given year is Coffee Festival Europe 2027 — the year follows the name, it does not replace it.
- No abbreviation. Not CFE, not CFE27. An abbreviation nobody outside the office recognises costs more than the characters it saves.
- The earlier editions are İstanbul Coffee Festival and Ankara Coffee Festival, with the Turkish İ. Coffee Festival Europe is the European chapter of the same festival, not a separate brand.
- In a sentence it takes no article in English or Turkish; in German it is das Coffee Festival Europe.
Photography
- Photographs from the Recap archive may be published with the credit line shown beside each image, unchanged and uncropped beyond straightening.
- People in those photographs are visitors and exhibitors of earlier editions. Do not use them to illustrate a claim about 2027, and do not use them in advertising.
- Need something specific — a particular stand, a particular year, a higher resolution? Ask press@coffeefestival.eu rather than upscaling what is on the page.
Existing partner and sponsor logos are never reinterpreted either — we place them as their owner supplies them.
