Why Dortmund
Catchment, reachability, and what the choice has to do with industrial history. The long version is on the host city page.Announcement

Current
August 2026 · Lead
After Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya, the festival opens its European chapter. Dortmund was not chosen for the size of the city but for the density around it: 5.1 million people live in the Ruhr metropolitan region, and almost all of them reach the ground in under an hour. The exact venue and dates follow once the contract is signed.

Partner portraits
Sponsors, associations and municipal partners introduce themselves here one by one — with what they actually contribute, not just their logo.
In preparation
No entry yet. The first portraits appear once the partner contracts for the Dortmund chapter are signed. We publish no partner before they have signed — not even when the talks are going well.
Roasteries
Every roastery that exhibits can have a portrait here: origin of the beans, roast profile, why they are coming. Not a paid slot but an editorial choice.
In preparation
No entry yet. The portrait series starts when the exhibitor list is published. Roasteries that have applied need do nothing further.
Archive
Shots from İstanbul and Ankara. The full archive with captions and photographer credits sits in the media section.

Why so little is here
We could fill this page with pieces that announce nothing — retrospectives, mood shots, quotes. Instead there are four entries and, beside them, what is still missing. Once the venue is signed this page fills up, and every entry will hold something nobody knew before.
Newsletter
The venue announcement, the presale start and the exhibitor list go to the list first. No second contact, no passing on — one click to unsubscribe in every mail.
